Lynch's Irish Tavern, Port Huron, MI

The May 16th '15 Blues Society Gig/Meeting/Jam at Lynch's Irish Tavern was a great success. It was a packed house and the talent was flowing. There were tributes a plenty to the Legend that is B.B. King. It was a mix of blues, funk, rockabilly and soul. There was singing, dancing and a friendly atmosphere. The people were swaying, tapping and clapping. The mood was electric. The final song and encore featured every musician with an amp or a mic that could get on or near the stage. It was a SHOW!

Creativity

Plans are in the works for a Detroit flavor infused Blues Album. Nothing can replace the original masterpeices that the Legends made. Many songs can be traced back to the 1920's - 1960's, however there are many different areas of the country that originated their own "sound". Delta, Texas, gut bucket Chicago and Detroit Soul. I'm mixing a few of these genre's with Detroit soul.

Detroit is a young and growing city, and I'm excited to be a part of it. It is my wish that this album pays tribute to Detroit and surrounding cities.
